SEASON 9 FASHION WEEK LAS VEGAS Post Show

Season 9 began on Monday August 15th thru Wednesday the 17th, 2016 in Las Vegas, coinciding with market week with MAGIC and Curve and Project. FWLV typically showcases Swim and Resort Wear on the runway to start the event off, but this season it participated at the Curve Convention inside Mandalay Bay.    A private label designer from NYC called  “Malanski” Luxury Swim, showcased inside the Las Vegas Showroom at the Mandalay  convention space, alongside Malanski for 3 days; was nail sponsor CND, they shared space with the international showroom to promote the new nail product line and added some great excitement each day at Curve this year. www.malanski.com

Runway shows were held on Wednesday August 17, 2016, with the following designers, from T&J Designers from Georgia, were not in attendance- Teona Margvelashvili, Jaba Kukuladze, Nargizi Giorgadze, and Bakhtadze Mariami Designs, Herant from South Africa, and Coal also planned for next year. The Hot topic this season was US Customs handing out Visa denials, this high percentage prompted organizers of FWLV to adjust and cut the event short by one night. All missing brands will be planned for 2017.

Wednesday Night opened up with the newest designer from the United States;
 LaQu “Laryssa is a young, innovative, edgy, high end Women’s & Men’s wear Fashion Designer. This was a dream of hers since she was 9 years old, following her grandmothers footsteps as a dress maker. LaQu Adornments is based in Brooklyn, NY. Laryssa is a graduate of Fashion Institute of Technology specializing in special occasion/evening wear. She often refers to her work as “Ready to wear with a Couture Twist.” She is inspired by everyday life in NYC, also the many shapes and features of a woman’s body. Laryssa always creates a fantasy or storyline that goes along with her collections. She is strongly passionate about her career, and loves keeping her customers feeling amazing in her creations. She hopes for people to enjoy her contributions to style as she shares part of her creative mind to the world. LaQu Adornments offers styling services, custom designs, & tailoring services. She also create custom brooch bouquets and other wedding keepsakes.”

Malanski Swim Wear, featured their newest collections for 2017, the White Luxe Collection and the Persian Collection made a splash at Curve at MAGIC. The inspiration & passion of Maurice Malanski, came to life during the 3 day Curve Convention, as attendees and buyers were mesmerized of the intensity of color that shined and shimmered inside the white 3 walled 10 x10 booth, the delicate pieces caught many eyes and had local convention models and out of town vendors and buyers offering encouragement that this may be the next big thing to hit the retail markets in 2017. The competition was very apparent, not many exhibitors offered their new collection to be available for a physical viewing, but just a mere 3x 6 banner to entice the senses, as passerby’s were hoping to have a second to see the real thing. Malanski was armed with all pieces and some brand new looks he personally delivered on Wednesday the last day of Curve convention.  The fashion week event, held on Wednesday Night had several the blonde & brunette bombshells sporting the amazing swim looks with matching beach hats as accessories for the first time on the runway.

International Designer from France Chalina Couture, closed the show with her Newest Red Carpet for 2017 in a themed color of red. These pieces were elegant and sexy along with the glamour they each presented on the models during her catwalk. She concluded the show with a show stopper White 2 piece long wedding gown new for 2017.

Chalina Couture also presented for the first time her Active Sports Workout Wear for 2017 season and each piece was beautifully presented with bright colors and opened her runway show on Wednesday night. This was a big surprise on her part and the newest addition for Chalina’s Active wear will be available in early 2017

ECLAT by Robert Rison

Robert Ríson (pronounced ‘reeson’) (born February 24, 1976) is a Clothing Designer, Author, Artist, Channeler, and Metaphysical Healer. He is a 3rd Degree Reiki Master of the Usui System of Reiki Healing (Usui Shiki Rycho). He wrote his first “how to” book about the methodology of thought and reality creation at the age of 12 (The Living Information) in 1988. He, also, has researched the subject of life extension, through the use of alternative methods of nutrition and health, since that time. Having graduated from high school at the age of 16, he then wrote his second book (Elevated Dining) at the age of 17. Not limiting his search to just metaphysical understanding, he incorporated scientific understanding, as well. The result of the research was the book “ELEVATED DINING.” He incorporated “ELEVATED DINING’s” alternative methods into his business/artistic affairs and found that these concepts proved beneficial to his patrons/ clients psychological well-being. Revised editions of these 2 earlier books are scheduled for release in 2017. He has traveled to Egypt, Tibet and Japan in researching the esoteric and metaphysic knowledge. He is currently working on his 3rd book, which will include the knowledge gained from these sojourns. The current book project is scheduled for release in 2016. He has a Degree in the Science of Business Administration and a Degree in Dress Making & Design. From the years of 1994 to 2003, Rison was mostly doing stage and costume designs, promoting his collaborative works of art, promoting his first two books and operating his retail clothing boutique. He designed and Internship @ Antthony Mark Hankins Inc, June 1 2000 in Dallas Texas. He started the pursuit of dressmaking and clothing designing as a professional fashion designer full time in 2010, after his sojourn from the Far East. He and Associates launched ECLAT Design & Atelier House in March 2011 as Full service Design & Tailoring House.

FASHION WEEK LAS VEGAS ATTRACTS INTERNATIONAL INNOVATIVE AND AVANT GARDE DESIGNERS AS WELL AS TOP MODELS TO ITS FASHION WEEK 17-19 FEBRUARY 2016 

 

Season 8 of Las Vegas Fashion Week is  being held from 17th February to the 19th February 2016 in Las Vegas, United States Of America. This event showcases products like The Official International Fashion Week Las Vegas, with worldwide media coverage from international broadcasting press to international bloggers, fashionistas, and celebrity stylists. We will be showcasing Designers and Brands in the Fashion industry from all over the world.

 

Fashion Week Las Vegas (FWLV) Season 8 will take place February 15-19, 2016 inside New Dream fashion Media group’s Studio 5 and outside in its courtyard at 2801 South Valley View Boulevard, Las Vegas Nevada 89102. Organizers had a 2 day private buyer event that was held Monday and Tuesday and three nights  of runway shows with established international designers and emerging designers.

Event Schedule Overview – Each night will offer buyers a chance to see designer collections in a very intimate setting with a grand room that will be themed for the shows nightly. The stage will be set to feature 2017 Swimwear for men’s and women’s, Pret a Porter Collections for a few consecutive nights, and ending fashion week with a Red Carpet Collection Night.  Buyers and Press will be invited to attend and must rsvp for entry and a guaranteed VIP seating.

FASHION WEEK LAS VEGAS SEASON 6

Fashion Week Las Vegas (FWLV)  took place Feb 17-19, 2015 in Town Square at Baobab Stage at 6587 South Las Vegas Boulevard, Las Vegas, NV 89119.

Organizers prepared a full three nights of runway shows with some diverse international designers a special appearance be local magician V took the stage on opening night showing guest some magic that took many by surprise.

FWLV, is also the platform for the runway model competition organized by FWLV Runway Director Russel Frank. This season, an amazing group of new young talent will strut their stuff on the runway each night at Fashion Week Las Vegas. The winners, one female and one male, will each win a two year contract with ENY MODEL MANANGEMENT, which is based in Las Vegas but also has offices in New York and Los Angeles.

A special press/ VIP room at the venue will open from 5:30-7 nightly for all media and buyers who have registered to meet the designers that will be showing their fashions on the runway as designated each evening. A full schedule is available online at www.fashionweek-lasvegas.com/schedule .

On Monday, February 16th 2015, a private press event will be held at the Blue Martini in Town Square located 6587 South Las Vegas Boulevard, Las Vegas, NV 89119 . The week begins with runway show beginning in Tuesday February  17, 2015  showcasing on the Runway we have Daniel Hernandez with his 2015 ready to wear collection,  Aida Zein of Australia, and Twisted Liar who will be closing the show. 

Wednesday February 18, 2015 VHK Fashion from Bulgaria will show case her 2015 ready to wear collection, and Victor Herrera with Viced Man a new designer from Las Vegas with Men’s under ware to show case for the first time at Fashion Week Season 6. The New Category for FWLV will be closing the show is a Luxury Street Wear Brand called Flee God Clothing from NYC.  “Flee” Fashion Leaving Energy Everywhere– the brand based out of NYC will be showcasing for the first time on the runway on Wednesday night February 18, 2015.

Thursday Night February 19, 2015 will showcase local designer Wassa Wear with her red carpet collection for the first time on the runway, exquisite designs by Wassa will have you at the edge of your seat.  Closing our show is Daniel Hernandez from Boston featuring his first Red Carpet Collection for 2015. Don’t miss this night we will have entertainment by” V” our amazing magician who will give lots of tricks you will  be amazed at.

Daniel Hernández is uniquely qualified to host this year’s LVFW by virtue of winning the Best Ready to Wear Collection, at the 2014 Fashion Week Las Vegas.

Hernández was recognized by Vitamin Water, and Talenthouse.com and was awarded Avant Garde Designer of the Year at New York Fashion Awards in 2014. In addition, Hernández was awarded the Best Couture / Formal Designer at this year’s 2015 Boston Fashion Awards. He is well respected as a Colombian-American fashion designer, licensed cosmetologist, educator, and the founder/ creative director of DH Studios Inc.

It is no surprise that Gerry Villacres, executive director of the Hispanic-American Chamber of Commerce in Boston, describes Hernández as a “well-rounded individual who has managed to integrate innovation and entrepreneurial skills.”
Daniel’s approach to fashion and the cosmetics industry in general is based on a fundamental appreciation of his interpretation of the modern woman and a holistic perspective in creating that look. Combined with his fervent desire to improve current technology used to create garments and integrating his in-depth knowledge and appreciation of former influential designers, Daniel considers a woman’s unique attributes and interprets beauty through this lens. His designs celebrate a variety of skin colors, backgrounds, and body types. By combining a classic well-structured garment as the foundation, coupled with the ability to customize it; he has mastered the delicate balance of professionalism and “couture”.
In fact, his designs have landed him numerous accolades out of New York, Amsterdam, and Boston, and are recognized by established brands such as Banana Republic and Alfred Fiandaca. He was formerly awarded “Fashion Designer of the Year” by Style It Up TV, and “Cutting Edge Designer of the Year” by the New York Fashion Awards.
After moving to the U.S., Daniel studied at Boston’s School of Fashion Design on Newbury Street, and completed a semester in Paris with the abroad program at New York’s Fashion Institute of Technology. Hernández specialized in French Costume History and as a result of this formal training and his cultural heritage, became fluent in Spanish, French, English and Portuguese.
His design studio, appropriately named after his name “DHStudios Inc”, is perfectly positioned in Boston’s South End to maintain strong ties to his community. He collaborates with other local jewelry and accessory designers and uses his talents and skills to teach interns a hands-on approach to fashion. His desire to educate models, clients, and industry professionals has led to his participation at the Boston Center for Adult Education as an instructor for over ten years and was invited to teach a beauty class in Harvard University entitled “Cosmetics 101”. He is constantly driven to improving the quality of the curricula for fashion professionals and has been recognized in numerous publications in Boston, MA.

Australian label expands ‘rebellion internationally @ Fashion Week Las Vegas 2015

LAS VEGAS: A rebellion on ‘revealing all’ was made today when fashion label Ninety9 and 2015 range ‘BE-LEIVE’, made its international debut on the catwalk of Season 6 Fashion Week Las Vegas.

Funky, feminine and modest, the Ninety9 BE-LIEVE range offers edgy street wear that’s comfortable, noticeable and fun – for women that want to leave more to the imagination. The brain power behind Ninety9 is law student turned designer, Aida Zein,

who wanted to create alternative fashion choices for women whilst not being segregated from main stream fashion.

 

“The BE-LEIVE range is rebellious because it’s designed for the woman who don’t want to be dictated to by general fashion trends. “My designs embrace beauty and modesty, yet stay in the fashion stakes,” said Zein.

 

“I’ve had women from all walks of life say how relieved they are to know there is now a style available that provides them with fashion options.”

Ninety9’s BE-LIEVE range has 20 Looks that embrace denim and layers, using a variety of block colors that work together in a simple and effective way – it’s street, chic.

“I am incredibly excited to be launching here in the United States today.  My entourage and the label has come a long way since we began nine years ago, and I BE-LIEVE this is just the beginning,” Zein said.

“I have my sights on working with leading brands like H&M, Guess and Macy’s just to name a few. My Australian experience has shown there is a huge market out there and this opportunity is too good to miss.”

It was over nine years ago that Zein took the radical jump from law to fashion.  After studying law part-time and working full time at a prestigious Sydney law firm, Aida deferred her study with the intent to continue working, save money and study full time.  But after a while her focus changed from law to looks.  She left her job and plunged head-first into her new venture.
“As a woman who seeks to dress modestly but is also fun and funky, there was nothing on the fashion runway that had the cover, street edge and style I wanted.  The only way forward was to design the clothes myself,” said Zein.

With no formal training Zein surrounded herself with the right people and took a step into the unknown.  “The results blew me away.  After wearing out some of my designs people started stopping me in the street and commenting on my clothes.  This great reaction really excited me and I was hooked.  I started showing my work privately to friends, then to friends of friends until it grew into the business it is today,” she said.

FASHION WEEK LAS VEGAS SEASON 6 HITS THE RUNWAY FEBRUARY 17-19, 2015

You might this its MAGIC, but it’s not.

While it coincides with that renowned fashion event that takes place in Las Vegas twice a year, Fashion Week Las Vegas is an independent entity that appears via the auspices of Milka Von Rhedey, who founded it in 2011. With its goal being to provide established and emerging designers a platform on which to show their creations in a city renowned for its international flavor, Fashion Week Las Vegas , with hard work and dedication, has pulled designers, models, and buyers from all over the world out of the hat and onto the runway.

Fashion Week Las Vegas (FWLV) Season 6 will take place Feb 17-19, 2015 in Town Square at Baobab Stage at 6587 South Las Vegas Boulevard, Las Vegas, NV 89119. Organizers are preparing a full three nights of runway shows with some diverse international designers.

FWLV, is also the platform for the runway model competition organized by FWLV Runway Director Russel Frank. This season, an amazing group of new young talent will strut their stuff on the runway each night at Fashion Week Las Vegas. The winners, one female and one male, will each win a two year contract with ENY MODEL MANANGEMENT, which is based in Las Vegas but also has offices in New York and Los Angeles.

A special press/ VIP room at the venue will open from 5:30-7 nightly for all media and buyers who have registered to meet the designers that will be showing their fashions on the runway as designated each evening. A full schedule is available online at www.fashionweek-lasvegas.com/schedule .

On Monday, February 16th 2015, a private press event will be held at the Blue Martini in Town Square located 6587 South Las Vegas Boulevard, Las Vegas, NV 89119 . The evening will offer press and VIP guests a chance to meet the designers taking part in FWLV Season 6.
